We have a few things that we wanted to let all our friends & followers know about and thought that a simple "informational" blog would be most effective.
First on our list, we have a very exciting announcement to make.
Cathy's Fly Fishing Handbook is back & better than ever! With updated tips, information, and new video QR codes, the 3rd Edition is going to be the best one yet. Also, Cathy & Barry wanted to share with everyone that Sage won Best of Show at the IFTD show in Las Vegas last week for their New 2200 Series Freshwater Reel. Congratulations Sage & we are so proud to be part of the team! The new reel will be available in August and we're looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
And lastly but certainly not least, we have 2 incredible trips coming up that still have openings available. The first is a return trip to Mongolia. Everyone loved it so much in 2010 that the Becks are returning again in September. The fishing is excellent and the culture fascinating. But if that wasn't enough, this year the Becks are coinciding their trip with the annual Eagle Festival in Ulgy. This is going to be a once in a lifetime opportunity and we hope you'll consider joining us.
The second trip is a little different... Somewhere the Becks have yet to visit- Spain. If trout fishing is your thing, we are told that Spain, specifically the Pyrenees in the northeast is the place to go. Species include native browns, "zebra", brook trout, & rainbows. This is also a great destination for non-anglers with lots of interesting destinations such as medieval cities, monasteries, wine tours, thermal spas, and wine tours.
